John Santana
John Santana is a composer, conductor and hosts Evening Concert on K-Mozart 1260AM. He holds a Masters degree in music and studied composition with Roy Harris and Nicholas Slonimsky. John did his first classical music program in El Centro, California in 1970. Seven years later he joined the staff of LA's classical station, then called KFAC. When KFAC was sold in 1989, John continued his classical radio career on KKGO, Los Angeles, serving as the afternoon drive host for many years, through their change in call letters to KMZT (K-Mozart). He was Program Director for the California Classical Network, which included KKGO, KKHI-San Francisco, and X-Bach-San Diego.
